Lifeway Church is the vision God gave Craig Walker when he and his wife Debbie moved to Celina in August 2006. The seeds for the new church were planted in the hearts of about fifteen people meeting in a living room and grew rapidly into a launch team.

The first preview service was held September 2007 at Celina High School with eighty-three attending. Preview services were held once a month for the next five months and the launch team grew to about 100. The church officially began on February 10, 2008 with the vision of reaching those who have given up on church but who have not given up on God.

Today Lifeway averages over 200 in the Sunday morning Celebration service and has many different small groups meeting around the community.
